Time for Halloween!!!

Our front door--this was actually more of a lemon yellow when we moved in, but David repainted to a much nicer color.

And we're ready.  We ended up having only 4 trick or treaters.  It started storming as soon as it became dark.

We haven't had internet, TV or landline since we moved in.  Luckily, our wonderful neighbor, Martha, has let us "in" on her connection.  Our front hall is the only place we can get it--our "Technology Center"!!!

And today, we received our first home-delivered newspaper since we left Reston on July 1st!!!
