Still trying to catch up...

The week of July 19th was Lake Week for our daughters and their families.  Here are some pictures of what we did.

I have to add that before this day was over, the girls (under Sara's guidance) prepared  a beautiful and very special birthday video tribute for me.  Friends and relatives sent clips, pictures, etc.  I laughed and cried through it.  It was so special and such a treasure.

These are a collection of bones the kids found on an "island" and insisted we take back to our house.  Trey was especially fond of the jaw bone with teeth.  Later, he and Shelley googled it to find out it was probably from a deer.

What a great week we had.  Went by way too quickly, but have lots of wonderful memories to hold us over until next time.  Thanks everyone!!!

A few new things in our lives...

We joined the YWCA in Belmont.  I love their philosophy.

And I love this statue that sits in the entrance there.

And the newest member of our household.  This is a 2013 model, but has very few hours on the motor which is great.  We were lucky to find this via our dock builder on Lake Wylie.  So, when we purchased it, we just drove up the lake and into
 our dock.  We'll make many wonderful memories on this boat.
