October 23th to 27th

We left on the 23rd for Northern Virginia, staying with Shelley and Thad in Bristow, VA.

Later on Saturday, we drove to Silver Spring, MD for the beautiful wedding of Kristen Caswell.  David worked with her dad, Scott, when we was at Willard Packaging.  Then we drove back to Shelley and Thad's after the reception.

 Tyler was involved a 2-game tournament on Sunday.  Luckily, some well-thinking parents brought a grill, hot dogs, etc for lunch between the games.

And then out to dinner after a long day of baseball to celebrate Shelley's birthday!

Time for pumpkin carving, squeezed in over the weekend.

On Monday, we rented a box truck and a trailer to bring David's '52 Chevy pickup to our new home.  

A huge "thank you" to Chip & Debby Burt for letting us store the truck in their garage since June.  They are very good and generous friends.

Checking to make sure it will start, and then...

Up on the trailer and ready to head to Belmont.  I followed David in my car.  A long day of driving for both of us.
