Sept. 21st

As many of you know, we have visited 6 different churches in the Belmont area to find a church home.  We finally have found the one that feels pretty good.  The minister at FUMC, is very young and new as of July.  He met us for coffee for over an hour and we chatted about the (awesome) church we left behind and what we were looking for.  It seems like this church has just about everything we did leave at HUMC, but our friends.  We'll be getting involved, but slowly.  We're looking forward to making many friendships there.  It feels good to have found a church home.

The church from the main street.  They also have a child development center here.  No Praise Band yet, but the minister is hoping to have one.  There are 700 members here, so just the right size for us--not too big, not too small, just right.
